Chris graduated from the University of Auckland in 2023 with a BA/LLB(Hons) as a senior scholar. He was admitted in December 2023.
For two years, Chris worked as a judge’s clerk for Justice Glazebrook at the Supreme Court. He worked on a variety of civil and criminal matters. While a judge’s clerk, he also served as Editor-in-Chief of the Public Interest Law Journal of New Zealand (PILJNZ) and tutored contract law at Victoria University of Wellington. He has also worked as a tutor and research assistant at the University of Auckland.
Chris has published academic work in PILJNZ, Gateway History Journal and the Auckland University Law Review.
In February 2025 he joined Mills Lane Chambers as a junior barrister. He is interested in all areas of civil litigation.
